30 de vagoane noi la Belgrad

E vorba de tramvaie de tip Urbos 3 de la producatorul spaniol CAF. Valoarea contractului: 81 milioane euro pentru 30 de tramvaie.

Capitala unei tari devastate de razboi, tara care nici macar nu e in U.E. isi permite "luxul" de a investi in tramvaie noi de la un producator adevarat. Nu acelasi lucru se poate spune despre Bucuresti, un oras de lux, dar cu closet in fundul curtii.

Belgrad a cumparat 25 de tramvaie noi Bozankaya, de 30.5 m lungime, iar primul a ajuns vineri:

The first of 25 new trams from the Turkish manufacturer Bozankaya arrived on Friday at the Belgrade Public Transport Company depot, according to an announcement on the official Instagram account of the Public Transport Secretariat.

The Secretariat published the first pictures of the new tram and shared several basic technical specifications: the total length of the vehicle is 30.5 meters, with a capacity of 170 standing and 48 seated passengers, and it reaches a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour.

Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Sapic announced earlier this week that the first Turkish tram should begin operating in Belgrade by the end of June, and that the delivery deadline for all 25 trams from Bozankaya is “approximately one year.”

Sapic also announced plans to launch a public procurement for the purchase of another 100 new trams.

Meawhile, the non-governmental organization Center for Local Self-Government (CLS) warned that for the budget spent in Belgrade on the purchase of the first 25 new trams, 10 more trams could have been obtained, but that, as it stated, they were "eaten up" by corruption.
