The contract for delivery of 15 new trolleybuses was signed

A contract for supply of 15 new trolleybuses to the Czech manufacturer "SOR Libchavy" OOD was signed today. At a working meeting with the deputy ambassador of the Czech Republic in our country Petar Vavra, the company's sales representative for Bulgaria Emil Kimak and technical director Indřich Hudi, the mayor Pencho Milkov expressed his satisfaction with the finalization of the public order for the new vehicles.

The new trolleybuses will be part of the fleet of "Municipal Transport - Ruse" EAD and their delivery is expected to begin this summer. They will run entirely on electricity and guarantee zero harmful emissions. Their heating and air conditioning are also fully electric. The warranty period of each of the new trolleybuses is 10 years (120 months).

SOR TNS 12 trolleybuses have a capacity of 86 passengers - 33 seated and 53 standing. These vehicles are of a new generation, with priority given to providing an accessible environment for passengers with reduced mobility and for mothers with prams. The trolleybuses are low-floor, with a platform for trolleys on the middle door, and in case of need, the whole machine can be tilted to the right.

The delivery of the 15 vehicles is in implementation of the project "Improving the quality of atmospheric air through the purchase and delivery of electric vehicles for road transport - electric buses and trolleybuses for the Municipality of Ruse". It is financed by the Operational Program "Environment 2014-2020", co-financed by the European Union through the European Structural and Investment Funds and the Cohesion Fund. Bine ca nu ii pun cruce troleibuzului...  

Situatia actuala de la Ruse e in felul urmator:

- mai este un singur troleibuz Renault, dar aflat in depoul societatii de transport;
- sunt in circulatie noile troleibuze SOR achizitionate.
